Parent’s don’t automatically know how to raise their babies. Parenting is like a game or a sport, you start from scratch, and learn on the go. Sporting greats like Sachin Tendulkar or Roger Federer didn’t become champions overnight. And like each player in a game, each parent has his/her own journey and strengths.The “Parenting game” quilt is meant to remind the parents that it is a game and they are Player Mom and Player Dad. They each have a few superpowers which will help them navigate this game with fun and ease. They will eventually get better with time, but the path may not always be linear, and like a game of snakes and ladders, there might be ups and downs.
